Fortis is proud to have earned a spot in the Globe and Mail’s brand-new Women Lead Here benchmark for Executive gender diversity.
Launched in 2020, Women Lead Here will be an annual benchmark report produced by Report on Business magazine. It uses proprietary research methodology to rank 500 of the largest publicly traded Canadian companies, evaluating the ratio of female-identifying to male-identifying executives in each of the top three tiers of executive leadership. The resulting data is applied to a weighted formula that factors in company performance and other variables. Fortis is one of only 73 corporations that earned the Women Lead Here distinction this year.
We are happy to be acknowledged for our progress on equity, inclusion and diversity and as we celebrate this achievement, we recognize our work is nowhere near complete. We continue to commit to advancing inclusion and diversity in our business and in our communities.
